Risk Executive/ Manager – Shipping recruitment
Reporting to the Head of Risk Management, the position is responsible for accelerating progress with risk management initiatives, collaborating with Risk Liaison Officers and advising in the risk identification process, and tracking progress with risk improvement projects and maintaining the corporate risk register.
Prior experience including risk management HSSE, audit or similar control environment in shipping is important. Knowledge of COSO, ISO3100 etc. familiarity would be ideal although, at a minimum, knowledge of corporate infrastructure and principles of corporate governance would suffice.
The successful candidate will hold a business degree with an analytical focus and be MIRM qualified, or equivalent. They will also have a high competence in report writing, presenting and workshop facilitation, and be a strong influencer, compelling communicator and have an analytical and practical outlook.
