Risk Management – Associate – Partner Level – UK or Germany recruitment

You will be expected to give an understanding of all associated risks in the qualified, considered and strategic advice you give on client engagements. You will assist client teams in understanding and quantifying risk exposures, evaluating risk strategies, and building and maintaining risk models
Responsibilities include overall management of the technical aspects of client engagements, delivering to tight deadlines, and communication with Directors on engagement status, acting as primary point of contact for client staff for all technical Risk related matters, and ensuring the highest level of quality in client deliverables. Due to the structure of client engagements, consulting teams are expected to travel frequently and conduct the majority of their work at the client site.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Multiple years’ experience in a consultancy with risk focus or in risk management in any industry sector or comparable experience in insurance, banking, corporate finance, trading/intermediation, supply chain with significant exposure to risk
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to lead teams, motivate others and communicate complex ideas
- Demonstrated track record of client deliverables (proposals, reports, presentations) to a high standard
- Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging work environment
- Fluency in English and or German is required
- Distinctive records of post-graduate academic achievement, ideally with one of the following:
- MBA with an undergraduate focus in a heavily quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science)
- Ph.D. degree in Finance/Business ideally focused on risk, Economics, Physics, Statistics/Mathematics
- Masters degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, or Applied Mathematics
- Willingness to travel
