Our client is more than 100 years old Insurance player in the market. Their brand is synonymous with financial strength and dynamism. They are the oldest and most established player Life Insurance player in Singapore and Malaysia.
Job Purpose
To assist department head in carrying the function of compliance in relation to the operations of the client.
The Job
- Provide advice to business on regulatory requirements and general compliance matters
- Vet all product related materials to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
- Provide advice on regulatory requirements regarding product distribution issues
- Conduct compliance examination to assess and monitor that the business operates within internal and external rules
- Identify key risk and compliance indicators and devise monitoring mechanism to mitigation/ control measures
- Prepare management report on compliance matters
- Conduct compliance training
Our Requirements
- University graduate with at least 3 yrs in the financial services industry with compliance/ audit experience preferred
- Good knowledge of MAS and FAA rules and regulations
- Professional Qualifications preferred eg FChFP, CFP, ChFC, CMFAS Modules 5,9,8, HI, FNA, CGI
- Analytical, meticulous and capable problem-solver
- Self-motivated, initiative and independent
- Committed and hard working
- Fluent communicator
- Bilingual
- Excellent written skills
