Risk Management Consultant – London – Up to £85,000 recruitment
The successful risk management consultant will be interested in working within an entrepreneurial environment where they will be involved in all aspects of the company from pre-sales to lead project roles. Working with the company’s clients, the risk management consultant will be creating solutions by making use of the company’s expertise in finance, financial engineering and technology.
The successful risk management consultant will possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of financial regulation (Basel, MiFID, Dodd-Frank etc)
- In depth Knowledge of FX, Rates, Credit, Equities, Commodities and Derivatives
- Experience in Model Validation
- Experience within Market Risk Management (VaR, backtesting, stress testing), Liquidity Risk and Trading/Banking book credit risk management.
Candidates will also be:
- Educated up to Masters level in a Finance or Quantitative discipline.
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CFA and or CIMA/ACCA) would be highly beneficial
- Client facing with the ability to present clear and concise arguments
- Experience in VBA and advanced mathematical languages (Matlab, R), or technical languages (C#, C++ or Java) are preferable.
Salary: £50-85,000 dependant on experience.
