Risk Management Consultant (London)

Our Profile

A young and growing consultancy firm specialized in Financial Services Risk Capital Management with offices in Zurich and London. We are expanding our UK practice and are looking for entry-level consultants to join our existing team in London.

Our culture is that of an ambitious start-up: Expect to work on challenging tasks in an intense project delivery environment that will require you to learn fast and adapt quickly. You will be exposed to a range of interesting topics in some of the leading Financial Institutions in Europe; and, critically, you will join a supportive team of similar-minded individuals that are committed to making the company a success.

Your Profile

You are a highly qualified individual with strong analytic skills and have an interest in applying your abilities to Financial Risk Management. Typically, you will have an advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Natural Sciences, Engineering or Economics.

You have good communication skills. By this we mean that you have discovered a certain interest or even talent to not only produce results and solve a particular problem, but also to present and explain those results to a non-expert audience.

You have developed a “problem-solving mindset”. What is that and how can you tell if you do? One of the traits that you are likely to have developed is a strategy to deal with the phenomenon that while you work towards the solution of a particular problem, you will inevitably discover a host of new and related problems, waiting to be explored and ready to derail and delay you in your original undertaking. If you find you can stay focused while exploring all those new avenues to ensure you are not missing a vital fact, you are likely to be successful in working on tight-deadline, high-intensity consulting projects as well.

You are eager to travel and see different projects, different clients and get exposed to a broad set of topics in the risk management area. You are flexible, self-motivated and intrigued by the idea of working in an environment that combines a high degree of personal freedom, intellectual diversity, closely-knit teams and intensive project work.

Proficiency in the German language is an advantage.
