Risk Manager
A Institutional Investment Management firm are looking for a Risk Manager within the global risk management team (currently 2 in London), responsible for providing support to the team in further developing and implementing a risk management framework. There is a focus on Operational Risk, but knowledge of Credit and Investment Risks within Asset Management will be important in order to add value across the whole risk management framework.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out risk reviews to identify key risks impacting business objectives
- Producing reports to senior management and relevant governance committees
- Enhancing the business' risk management procedures
- Implementing risk management related policies and programmes
- Executing Operational Risk Management programme
- Participating in New Product approval processes
- Producing risk governance reports on key risks
- Producing of the annual ICAAP document
- Providing input on the risk management process and the overall risk framework
Desired Experience:
- Understanding of the Credit, Investment and Operational Risks in Asset Management
- Understanding of the Operational Risks in Asset Management
- Understanding of the regulatory environment
- Ability to prioritise risk remediations
- Basic understanding of economic capital
- Experience of Investment Management industry is essential
