Job Description
To support its dynamic expansion within Belgium, our client is seeking an experienced Finance Risk Manager (M/F).
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Finance Risk Manager is responsible for defining and deploying the risk policy within the bank.
- Delivering useful insights and action plans for improvement of the internal systems
(including Corporate policies and procedures)
- Setup and development of the Risk Management Framework in cooperation with the CFO
- Supervise quality assurance work for SOX processes and especially reconciliation
- Coordinate the local and global compliance policy as well as the audit work
- Coaching of the members of the team
Job Requirements
To be considered for the position you must demonstrate :
- Master's degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Business Administration or any other relevant field
- More than 5 years expertise in banking or auditing functions in a banking environment, preferably finance with a focus on regulatory, tax, accounting and systems environment
- A good knowledge of securities operations is a must
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English as well as a good command of either French or Dutch is mandatory
- Problem solving mentality and strong analytical skills
- Autonomous, polyvalent and responsible team-player
- Strong business acumen with an obvious entrepreneurial mindset and "can do" attitude
- Able to work under pressure
