The Role
This role will see you assist the Risk team in maintaining the quality of the credit portfolio, effective risk governance within risk appetites to achieve business strategies for Singapore. This will include supporting the Chief Risk Officer for Singapore in implementing any relevant risk policies and procedures and acting as the Secretary of the Singapore Risk Management Committee (RMC) in maintaining all related documentation for audit trail purposes.
You will follow up on action items from RMC meetings and maintain a register of new products or product variations approved for Singapore. Other accountabilities will include arranging meetings with product managers and Singapore country stakeholders as required and monitoring the Singapore Risk mailboxes. Collaborating with stakeholders regarding country specific reporting (which requires CRO approval/oversight) will ensure timely completion and submission of returns.
Your Profile
The role calls for candidates with strong understanding of risk management processes plus risk policies and procedures. There is a strong preference for individuals with sound knowledge of banking businesses, products and processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills will also be required. Relevant tertiary level qualifications preferred.
