The risk management department in Travelex is seen as an independent, objective and consulting activity designed to reduce risk and add true value to the organisation.

The prime purpose is to provide risk management support to the senior team and operational areas of the Travelex Partner business and take the lead in the ongoing development of their risk frameworks in line with group policy. This will include identifying new / emerging risks, their associated controls and residual risk assessment as well as making and communicating control improvements. You will also act as the principal point of contact with customers risk teams, visiting internal and external auditors and group functions such as operational risk, physical security, compliance and fraud. 

This is a highly interactive role with significant exposure to all levels of the business requiring the role holder to provide proactive, pragmatic advice, support, guidance and direction in respect of governance/regulatory issues. 

As well as strong written report writing, you will demonstrate excellent analytical skills, a pragmatic and collaborative approach to problem solving and the ability to effectively influence at all levels within the business. Previous operational risk management experience gained within financial servicesis preferred, as is a professional risk or accounting qualification.

Although mainly site based in Frimley, a low level of travel to other sites in the UK can be expected.
