Risk – Market Risk Officer (Associate) recruitment

Deutsche Bank is exposed to a number of risks on a daily basis. These range from credit losses, market price volatility and operational failures to liquidity shortages and regulatory and legal matters. The Risk division is charged with identifying, aggregating, managing and mitigating these risks. We are made up of Compliance, Corporate Security Business Continuity, Credit Risk Management, Legal, Market Risk Management, Operational Risk Management Risk Analytics and Instruments, Treasury, and our Chief Operating Office.

The Market Risk Management department (MRM) is part of the Risk function within DB and is independent of the trading businesses.
We are looking for a Market Risk Officer (Associate level) to cover several Equity, and/or Equity Derivatives trading desks in Hong Kong, working with a Senior Market Risk Manager.
Education / Skills / Experience
- Degree qualified, ideally Masters in a quantitative science
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Market Risk Management of closely related function such as product control
- Good analytical and quantitative skills, including XL and VBA coding experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English) are essential to communicate effectively with risk managers, traders and other related departments
- Experience with equity related products
