Risk & PnL Projects Manager Top Tier IB- London recruitment
Working in an Analytical Solutions Team (AST) within a Change Management capacity with projects ranging from the delivery of large global strategic projects to the rapid deployment of solutions for local production issues. The team provides a service to various departments including Front Office, Market Risk, IPV and IT. Working with products in all businesses including Exotic Vanilla Rates Products, Credit Products, Longevity/ Life Products and Equity products.
Responsible for:
Having a good understanding of strategic platforms used by the business and how risk and PnL attribution reports are generated
Hands-on business analysis of requirements in projects, providing technical solutions, building solutions, creating/ running/ co-coordinating test cases to project managing a release
Act as an SME to solve complex business problems
Define and steer requirements to drive both strategic and tactical deliverables
Enhance Risk and PL Attribution processes
Develop strategic platforms to handle new product types
Create and maintain strong working relationships with team's clients and partners
Provide support to the FO and MO groups on daily issues
Building and running ad-hoc scenarios for the FO and analyzing outputs as required
Work with stakeholders, including IT, traders and middle office/ finance groups to migrate trades/ books, release new functionality and the banks platforms.
Candidates must have:
3+ years experience in product control (Risk PL)
Product knowledge within credit or exotics rates derivatives.
A good understanding of how risk PnL attribution is calculated and experience of delivering change or improvements to processes.
IT skills including Excel/ VBA, whilst knowledge of SQL and programming experience would be beneficial but not essential though you would be expected to learn these skills.
Full Project lifecycle experience is beneficial.
