Risk Policy Specialist recruitment

Essential Responsibilities

• Draft policies as required, working with key stakeholders at GECC HQ, EMEA HQ and in the Sub Businesses as appropriate and required
• Implement and maintain processes for policy self- assessment.
• Communicate requirements to Sub Businesses and work with them on gap analysis and closure.
• Work with Policy Manager on policy development, harmonisation and strategy, helping to ensure that EMEA meets all requirements coming from GE’s regulator.
• Work with Risk specialists on enabling required drafting of topical policies and procedures
• Maintain a rolling process of review notification on existing EMEA HQ policies to ensure that they are periodically reviewed and refreshed as according to rules and guidance.
• Maintain and develop libraries and Support Central sites.
• Produce and maintain communication resources such as policy schematics and indexes.
• Handle queries and requests in respect of HQ risk policies and procedures from Sub Businesses
• Monitor delegation records to ensure compliance with Procedural requirements
• Secretariat activities around the ERMC and associated committees such as NPI
• Provide support and carry out tasks as required for the Policy Manager and ERM Leader as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal fluency in English.
• In the region of 4-7 years Business / Industry job-related experience. .
• Well developed competency and highly confident with data manipulation – Excel etc
• Strong Power point skills
• Experience of working in multi country setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Influencing skills
• Policy and/or Risk experience in financial services
• Valid work permit

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in Policy and Compliance matters in a Risk context.
• Additional European language an advantage
