Risk & Portfolio Management Senior Analyst recruitment
The Senior Analyst works with Relationship Managers and Product Specialists and makes recommendations to the relevant Business and Credit Risk Committees based upon the analysis performed.
Essential Job Duties:
- Maintain and manage a portfolio of accounts within assigned industry sector
- Responsible for the preparation of new transaction proposals incorporating the analysis of the macroeconomic environment, the business, credit and financial risk profiles of the borrower, as well as risks inherent in the specific structure of a transaction
- Present completed transaction proposals to the relevant Business and Risk Committees
- Coordinate with Global Clients USA Account Officer and/or Product Specialist to ensure timely response to the client and that the transaction is completed within the approved terms
- Ongoing annual and/or quarterly reviews of existing clients
- Train and assist junior analysts and/or interns as needed
- May be assigned specific additional responsibilities such as analysis and preparation of sector/portfolio reviews, stress tests, and/or other senior management requests as deemed appropriate
Desired Skills Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of current Credit Risk experience within a top Corporate or Commercial Banking
- University Degree preferably in Finance or Economics; MBA is a positive but not required.
- In depth knowledge of accounting and experience with financial statement analysis
- Analytical orientation and critical thinking skills
- Autonomous decision taking problem solving ability
- Strong business writing and communications skills
- Intermediate level computer and statistical skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
