Role Summary/Purpose

Exciting role in the Portfolio Analytics team of GE Capital EMEA Headquarters with a diverse range of risk management responsibilities and exposure across various products. Essential Responsibilities

You will be an experienced risk or finance analyst with reserve management experience notably in consumer banking or financial institution with multi-product portfolio.
The Risk Portfolio Analytics Leader for Reserves will focus on consumer and commercial business reserves, risk portfolio analytics as well as supporting the newly formed ERMG. Looking for strong candidates that can manage at HQ level coordinating platforms and proactively managing senior level team expectation and have strong analytical skills. Key responsibilities include managing reserve changes and recommendation for approval, reviewing reserve adequacy, supporting ALLL control and governance and providing related analytical management updates and reports.

* Manage the Reserve Change process from a Risk perspective. Work closely with Controllership, liaise with local businesses providing the necessary support, guidance and feedback for Reserve model changes. Recommend proposals to the Senior Leadership Team for approval.
* Ensure local businesses and the EMEA business unit is adequately reserved. Provide insight, support and feedback during the Reserve Adequacy reviews both with local businesses and Capital HQ.
* Provide the necessary analytical support during the Reserve Adequacy Reviews and the various Planning Sessions.
* Support controllership on ALLL Control and Governance to ensure business are in line and in training with the GECC ALLL policy and the various models have been validated and signed off at CRO and CFO.
* Support Controllership in Reserve Policy reviews and exception tracking on an annual basis providing feedback and recommendations where applicable.

Qualifications/Requirements

* Proven experience in financial services industry; risk/business experience preferred and ability to develop and deploy strategic initiatives.
* Proven experience of general reserve modelling preferably in a Consumer environment.
* Degree in business finance, accounting, or risk management fields
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to lead discussions and conduct group meetings.
* Able to understand Portfolio risk variables to design reports to facilitate analysis, including demonstrated ability in quantitative analysis.
* Team player and proven ability to contribute to team development and mentoring.
* Ability to interface with various functions in a multi-cultural environment
* Able to work under tight schedules and consistently meet objectives
* Strong fluency in English, other European languages a plus
* Able and willing to travel domestically and within the European Union - c. 10% of time
