Risk, Regulatory and Financial Reporting – Futures (AVP) recruitment
Our client, a top tier investment bank, is looking to add a first-rate AVP to their regulatory and financial reporting space. It is an interesting and technical team, who essentially control a set number of entities/ banking book (in this case futures). This offers their staff the chance for full ownership of control, accounting and management of the entity PnL and Balance sheet.

Main Duties:
- Hold responsibility for the PL and Balance Sheet for the Futures legal entities
- Prepare month end management reporting/analytical for the entities involved by the team coverage including trade PL, balance sheet movements, intercompany mismatches, tax entries, accruals and Liquidity reporting
- The applicant will be required to perform local regulatory reporting, taxations filing (Corp Tax, Direct Tax and Withholding Tax)
- The role requires the applicant to prepare financial statements for legal entities under IFRS
- Coordinate on-site audit by external auditors
- Improve and encourage a strong controls framework within the team
Person Requirements:
- Approx 6-10 years of similar experience gained at banks, financial institutions or FS audit (i.e. audit of banks or financial companies)
- Strong grasp of Basel, MAS and IFRS reporting
- Ideally knowledge of SGX futures reporting, but not essential
- Highly organised with good record keeping
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Management ability
