Risk Sales Manager – Vendor recruitment
This roles has evolved due to strong global growth of the business especially in Solution Sales and Data. From a training perspective all new recruits will be sent to the company Head Office RD centre within the first 6 months of joining for intensive training on all the systems
Core responsibilities;
- Identification (cold –calls), contact, qualification and development of viable new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts within an established and defined territory
- Manage the development and execution of the prospecting plan for new accounts
- Manage the communication and internal coordination of SuperDerivatives’ support infrastructure: sales support and executive team to insure customer education and satisfaction;
- Responsible for the development, execution and delivery of quality solution focused, client presentations at a tactical level
- Create awareness and demand for company solutions.
- Requirement gathering, presentations, demo of software
Education, Skills Personality;
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum 5 years prior sales experience with experience in the capital markets or financial technology industry
- Experience in subscription / enterprise based products or extensive experience as a user of such a product – mandatory
- Experience in selling risk systems to the front and middle office at financial institutions around market and credit risk
- Previous exposure to capital markets, trading or risk management in any of the areas of foreign exchange, equities, fixed income or other derivatives
- Proven sales track record
- Or 5 years’ experience in trading FX options and managing live PL books
- Strong contacts throughout the financial services industry including buy-side and the sell-side;
- Knowledge of derivatives across asset classes including foreign exchange, equities, interest rates, commodities and credit risk derivatives is a very distinct advantage
- Establish an aggressive account development and retention strategy for complex solutions
- Work to develop a deep pipeline of new accounts in each target sector of the financial services industry (buy-side and sell-side);
- Demonstrated ability to accelerate the sale process: generating leads, managing the quote process, overcoming objections, "quarterbacking" the proposal development and successful installation of service offerings
- Understanding of the market landscape and the competitors to ensure key USP’s are effective
- very personable, outgoing energetic
- strong written and oral communication skills are a must
- strong proactive ability to approach customers and “cold calling” capabilities.
