Risk Strategy Manager

A major UK Banking Group are recruiting a Manager to work within their Risk Strategy division. Working in a specialist team, and reporting to The Head of Risk Strategy, the successful candidate will be expected to be involved in the analysis and development of Risk Appetite, Stress Testing and Capital Strategy policies to allow effective Risk control across the Bank.

This role will require advanced analytical skills and ability to develop regulatory capital policy. Furthermore, experience in developing risk appetite business-wide and subsequent stress testing is imperative. Due to the business facing nature of the role, the successful candidate must have strong communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders across the Bank, including Senior Board members.

Key Accountabilities:

- Develop Risk Appetite and Capital Strategy policies
- Stress testing - develop and assist in the implementation of a stress testing framework including the development of models and required analytical tools
- Develop tools and metrics to support risk appetite growth and development
- Analyse and reporting on existing FSA and EBA stress testing requirements
- Manage stress testing from bottom up, across specific process pinch points
 Perform scenario analysis
