Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Mechanically inclined, proficient in reading/interpreting assembly blueprints, following written and verbal work instructions, and excellent troubleshooting skills.' A basic understanding of the form and function of assembly components will be required as most assemblies are built without drawings or documentation. Must be able to accurately use measuring instruments. Must be a team player and capable of working well with minimal supervision while following safety procedures. Must be able to stand during majority of shift, occasionally lift/carry up to 50pounds and occasionally push/pull up to 10 pounds of force. Must be able to operate crane/hoist and pallet jack. Repetitive use of hands and wrists while using hand tools. Must be a team player and capable of working well with minimal supervision while following safety procedures.

Basic Qualifications

Assembles complex components per assembly drawings / bill of material. Performs functional testing on assemblies. Tests assemblies per customer and/or division criteria. Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards. Applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools. Performs torqueing of various components. Distributes quality notifications (qn's).

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

Associates degree preferred. Entry level.
