The Department

The Structured Finance Group (SFG) reviews a wide range of securitisation structures comprising mortgage and asset-backed securities, collateralised debt obligations, credit derivatives, asset-backed commercial paper, and repackaged bond transactions.

The Role

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated experienced Analysts to work within the SFG RMBS Group. This role is ideal for candidates who are interested in credit analysis and large exposure to the securitisation sector.

Responsibilities:
*  Analyze and review all credit aspects of EMEA RMBS transactions
*  Prepare and present rating recommendations to committees
*  Publish articles on sectors, transactions and performance trends
*  Interact with issuers, servicers and trustees
*  Conduct servicers reviews
*  Meet with investors.

Qualifications

*  Strong academic background degree in Business, Economic or Mathematical subject. Relevant professional qualifications (CFA) would be desirable
*  Proven experience within financial institution, audit, legal or consulting firm. Experience within securitization or with mortgage/consumer lending institution would be beneficial. Good understanding of financial markets.
*  Solid credit skills, rigorous and analytical thought process; capable of developing independent opinion and defend own views
*  Good written communication and presentation skills
*  Highest ethical standards
*  Able and willing to work with tight deadlines
*  Organized and efficient. Advanced MS Office skills as well as excellent Excel skills
*  Fluency in English is required for both locations; fluency in another European language preferable.
