RMBS, Analyst recruitment

Responsibilities
Act as lead analyst, including analyzing all credit related aspects of securitizations such as performance and credit data, deal structures, legal documents and cash flows in connection with the surveillance and rating of residential mortgage backed securities (RMBS), re-securitizations and securitizations of other residential mortgage-related products. Review transaction documents, analyze deal performance, and conduct credit risk analysis and cash flow modeling for RMBS and other residential mortgage-related products utilizing in-house Moody's models or Excel formulas to confirm or modify issued rating. Identify and assign RMBS deal analysis to junior analysts, and monitor and supervise junior analysts in connection with analytical process. Formulate independent credit opinions and present to rating committees. Develop and enhance existing analytical models. Publish timely and insightful research and effectively interact and communicate with market participants, including presenting at industry conferences and briefings. Lead the development and enhancement of existing methodologies and approaches.

Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Math or related quantitative field and 2 to 3 years experience in securitizations, preferably RMBS. Experience in collateral analysis, credit risk and cash flow modeling for RMBS or other residential mortgage-related products is desirable. Should have strong verbal and written communication skills. Advanced Excel skills are required. Knowledge of other statistical packages and database analysis is a plus.
