RMBS – Associate Analyst 3 recruitment

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support a team of structured finance analysts. The individual will apply statistical and cashflow models to analyze pools of assets; assist in preparing rating committee packages, published reports and internal and external presentations; compile data from large data sources and interface with other analytical teams; assist management on special projects, including working with teams outside of the U.S.

Key skills include the ability to appropriately interpret data; to effectively communicate, and to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
BA/BS degree with strong academic record required. Masters degree preferred. Knowledge of accounting, economics, finance or statistics as well as strong analytical skills are essential. Knowledge of and practical experience in financial/bond markets and use of statistical and cash flow models preferred; knowledge of RMBS a strong plus. Quantitative strength and solid experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database querying is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required.
