RMN Prison Nurse
Hays Healthcare is the preferred supplier of Prison nurses in the Yorkshire region and is now recruiting a RMN nurse to work in Leeds and Wetherby prisons. Block bookings and contracts available. This can be a challenging role and ideally you would have worked in secure environments previously.
I am looking for a nurses who can work as part of the Mental Health / Physical Abuse teams OR the IDTS / substance misuse teams. You will be involved dealing with prisoners who have problems with substance misuse, drug and alcohol abuse or self-harming prisoners. As RMN you will also be expected to deal with other functional or organic mental health illnesses.
Some duties can involve dispensing of medication, carrying your own caseload and delivering groups sessions, patient watch and one to one sessions. Prison clearance can be arranged.
