RN-Admissions/Veterans’ Clinical Liaison Job in Newark 19713, Delaware Us
The Admissions Nurse is a registered nurse and an Interdisciplinary Team Member whose primary responsibility is to present VITAS services and philosophy to patients and families in a manner that results in the admission of appropriate patients.
Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited college/university with consideration also given to international equivalent.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of two years experience as a R.N. and currently licensed in the state where Vitas is located. Previous oncology experience preferred and previous sales experience preferred. Knowledge of clinical manifestations of diseases and ability to develop VITAS specific clinical knowledge.
THIS POSITION WITH LIAIS0N WITH VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR HOSPICE SERVICES. WILL ALSO PROVIDE EDUCATION REGARDING HOSPICE CARE THROUGHOUT THE VETERAN COMMUNITY.
