Job Description
Provides, coordinates, supervises and responsibly directs the activities of various levels of assigned nurses and ancillary personnel in the provision of patient care utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Works under general supervision. Recognizes the need for teamwork and functions as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
· 3-5 years experience in ICU required.
· Current Illinois RN licensure required. CPR ACLS required.
· Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
· Effective communication, assessment, effective follow-through, decision making and independent judgment.
· Ability to use various instruments and operate equipment that may be necessary to perform job duties.
