Hays Healthcare is partnering with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) as a first tier supplier; to recruit experienced temporary Community Mental Health Nurses, practicing at band 6 levels to work at various MoD Departments of Community Mental Health up and down the country. These are prestigious assignment opportunities and we seek the best nurses that are looking for a new challenge in an exciting and rewarding environment.
Hays receive regular assignments in various locations and so we require flexible nurses that are unencumbered, that can travel to a fixed location for the duration of the assignment. Assignment lengths can vary and accommodation and travel expenses can be available. Pay is very competitive.
The CMHN will chiefly be responsible for providing an outpatient community mental health service, which involves organizing therapeutic, educational, training and mental health promotion, the RN (CMHN) must demonstrate a minimum of two years CMHN experience.
Essential requirements are also; SLiAP (Formally known as Preparation for Mentorship)/ ENB 998.
A secondary Clinical Qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)/ Trauma Focused CBT
Accurate Computer Skills
The CMHN must have up to date and full immunities, in date basic life support and manual handling mandatory training and a current DBS(CRB) check, along with NMC and RCN/similar membership. Clean UK driving licence. (Where the employment of a locum does not involve direct travelling then this is not required)
