Description:
- Skill Mix: RN, LPN, Unit Secretary, Monitor Technician, CNA, Student Nurse
- Major Equipment Used: IV pumps, Dinamaps, Dopplers, Crash Cart
- Special Certifications Needed: BLS; ACLS preferred (must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire)
- Special Competencies/Skills Needed: EKG/Telemetry
- Schedules: 12-hour shifts (7-7); Full Time is considered 36 hours per week, including every other weekend
- Dress code: Tasteful scrubs (individual provides their own)
- Designated Charge Nurse/Clinical Coordinator who DOES NOT take an assignment

Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an RN in the State of Florida.
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS through the American Heart Association.
- Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification--available online and free of charge at www.strokeassociation.org.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Prefer a minimum of one year prior Telemetry/PCU Nursing experience.
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
