Sutter Roseville Medical Center has 270 licensed beds and is capable of providing technologically advanced healthcare into the 21st century. Housed in a 315,000-square-foot modern facility, Sutter Roseville Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

Sutter Roseville Medical Center is a designated Level II Trauma Center serving a seven-county region that includes Placer, Yolo, Nevada, Sutter and Yuba counties, and portions of Sacramento and El Dorado counties.

POSITION SUMMARY:
 
The Registered Nurse role focuses primarily on the clinical direction and coordination of a patient-care team in collaboration with the medical staff to provide a full range of patient services. The Registered Nurse will function within the full scope of licensure to provide patient care; assess patient and family needs; implementation of the plan of care; and, review and evaluate the effectiveness. The Registered Nurse also provides care based on the age-related needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient with consideration of their developmental/psychosocial needs, environmental safety, education needs, communication style and level of understanding.

national/facility standards to achieve the best possible outcome.

patient/family experience.

 

MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education/ Knowledge, including Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:
Current licensure California RN required.  Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BS preferred.  BLS -Health Care Provider.  Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective written and communication skills.
 
Experience:
Med/Surg or Rehab/Sub Acute or CCRN:
1 year minimum med/surg experience required within the last 2 years, acute rehab experience preferred.
 
Skills:
Independently practices and prioritize multiple demands in a ever-changing environment. Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills is required.
