RN/Training Center Specialist
Summary: Provide primary instruction and course coordination for clinical verification and continuing education courses offered through the Clinical Education Training Center. Target audiences include pre-hospital, nursing, ancillary staff, and physicians from within the healthcare organization and throughout the tertiary outreach areas.
Requirements: BSN required. Master's degree in Nursing or Education preferred. Minimum 2 years nursing experience in acute healthcare required. Education experience strongly preferred. Unrestricted RN license from the State of Colorado Board of Nursing or compact privileges under the multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement. BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC provider certification required within 6 months of hire. Instructor certification in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC current or within 6 months of hire required. Course director certification in ACLS and PALS, current or within 6 months of hire required.
DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ABILITIES: Technical proficiency to operate clinical and educational equipment and basic simulation functions. Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously. Proficiency in public speaking and presentation development. Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills. Ability to travel and work flexible hours. Ability to professionally represent Poudre Valley Health System both internally and to the community.
