Server food and beverage items per guest request according to established service standard and provide cashiering services for patrons. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures Maintains a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Ameristar Casino Assure all tables are clean and properly set Ensure quality service standards are followed and cost controls are adhered to Complete menu knowledge and service techniques, including suggestive selling Set up serving stations according to checklist Answer questions regarding food preparation and make menu suggestions Receive cash, credit card, or comp slip form customers in payment for food or beverage Compute bill on cash register or adding machine, makes change, and issues receipt May be required to know value of menu items Assist with hostess duties upon request Assist with Expo duties upon request Answer phone and coordinates messages Be fluent in daily specials and marketing promotions May give cash refunds or credit memorandums as directed by supervisor Additional Info Minimum Age 16+ years old Job Industries Hotel Hospitality
