Ropes Course Supervisor- Splash Lagoon Indoor Waterpark & Resort Job in Erie 16509, Pennsylvania US
· Responsible for safe operation of ropes course, including performing safety checks of equipment and to perform / request repairs or replacements as necessary
· Writes schedules and follows a budget
· Ability to inspect and maintain the course is in excellent working condition
· Conducts ropes course training to insure that ropes course attendants are adequately instructed in the individual ropes elements and understands their roles in the overall element execution
· Ensures equipment safety, user safety, cleanliness and exemplary customer service of ropes course area
· Supervises other employees; relays information between management and ropes course attendants
· Performs other tasks and or related duties as assigned or required by management
· HS diploma/GED or equivalent; prefer some college coursework in business, finance or management area
· Must be at least 18 years old
· Minimum of one (1) year experience supervisory others in a customer service environment
· Ability to follow and accomplish technical and complex instructions procedures
· Knowledge of the standards of care in ropes course industry
· Demonstrated ability to work independently
· Ability to communicate effectively with public, guests and staff members
· Must have a positive attitude in order to fully cooperate with other staff in a team effort, and adhere to rules and regulations to ensure successful operation of a facility
