Airgas Mid America, Inc., a subsidiary of Airgas, Inc., a leading distributor of industrial, medical, specialty gases welding supplies, is seeking a Route Driver to join our St. Louis, MO Puritan Medical team.
Position Summary
The Route Driver position will deliver products to businesses and medical gas customers on a scheduled route or intermittently. Serve customers by selling products, meeting customer needs and resolving customer problems. Drive a Class A or B truck loaded with compressed gas cylinders, liquid cylinders and hardgoods for delivery to the customers on the scheduled route. In addition, this position assists with miscellaneous duties at the branch which include, but are not limited to maintaining the dock, shipping and receiving and helping in the fill plant as needed.
Qualified candidate must have:
* 1 Year Driving Experience
* CDL A w/ Hazmat air brake
* Clean MVR / driving record
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Must be at least 21 years old
* Understand highway traffic signs and signals
* Knowledge of the medical industry customer service experience is a plus
* Basic computer experience or knowledge a plus
