Royalties Manager recruitment

My client is looking for an ACA Finalist/new qualified or fully Qualified from Practice to join a prestigious company in Commerce and Industry as the Royalties Manager. You will head the department, overseeing progression and development of the department as well as managing a small team.

Required:
Recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) (or very close to qualifying)
3-5 years experience in an accountancy field
Experience of using various accounting software
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:
Previous experience of royalty accounting
Experience of reading through contracts and extracting information
Systems development experience
Management/Supervisory experience

Responsibilities will include:
Royalty reporting for both the UK and US offices
Management and progression of the Royalty Department
Creating management reports and analysis
Ad hoc systems developments and upgrades
Supplying royalty cost and revenue accruals to the Finance Department
Primary contact for all licensor audits
Maintaining strong author and licensor relationships
