Royalty Accountant recruitment

Key Responsibilities:
- Review royalty statements
- Prepare reporting for their artists and labels
- Assistance with General Ledger Reconciliations (Royalties and Copyright)
- Review of month end accounting relating to royalties;
- Actively engage with the Accenture outsourced royalties team as the key point of contact for all day-to-day queries relating to royalties;
- Prepare reports on artist related spending
- Review all artist related payments to ensure appropriate coding provided and supporting documents are maintained;
- Respond to artist inquiries and accounting queries;
- Prepare monthly cash forecast for royalty related payments
- Adhoc analysis and reports
Essential Criteria:
- 2-4 years post qualified in a Royalty Accounting role within Entertainment
- Excel - extensive experience; Navision and Great Plains desired
- Ability to work with figures and reports and undertake analysis
- Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and non-finance colleagues at all levels
- Ability to handle working in an informative and highly creative environment
- Ability to work with all levels of people from MD to creative personnel etc.
- Excellent co-ordination, time management and organisational skills
- Perform under stress to meet rigid deadlines
- Work on own initiative and unsupervised, but still as part of a team
