To evaluate performance and compensation, the KPIs are

a) Project Pipeline

b) Market share growth

c) Price erosion

d) Project value

The GIM leads a team of Regional Marketing Managers (RIM) and Relay Account Managers (RAM) who are dedicated to customers in the specific industry. The GIM reports to the Global Marketing Director.

Requirement:

01) Analyze industries to understand the business potential, the dynamics and the commercial- as well as the technical requirements of today, recognize the trends and anticipate the needs of the future

02) Define attractive market segments and key customers

03) Help to strengthen the channels to these markets

04) Build relationship to key contacts in important accounts

05) Define what value we have to proactively bring to our customers to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage

06) Support the Relay Account Managers to win print position in new applications

07) Interact closely with Product Management, Application Engineering, Product Engineering and Marketing Communication

08) Cooperate with Sales Marketing Management in the TE Business Units

09) Initiate new product development and the positioning of the products in the market. Contribute to Product Roadmaps, contribute to MarCom activities

10) Influence trends in the industry by helping to introduce break-through solutions

11) Develop, maintain and execute a five year global industry strategy.

Align this strategy with the goals of Relay Products, the strategies of the

TE Business Units and the account plans of the Relay Account Managers.

12) Prepare and execute an annual Sales plan for the industry

13) Take price decisions within applied rules and submit price proposals for further approval.

14) Develop competitive intelligence for competitor analyses

15) Initiate competition replacement activities

Qualification

- Technical education, preferably an electrical engineering degree

- Experience in Sales/Marketing of electromechanical products

- Market and technology oriented

- Customer focused

- Good communicator

- Effective leader and teamplayer

- Shows cultural awarness

- Familiar with managing large accounts

- Willing to travel worldwide

- Well versed in English

- Computer skills: Microsoft Windows
