RTB Business Analyst – Product Control Change recruitment

  Main Duties

The RTB Projects team is responsible for projects functions i.e. Project Management and Business Analysis support across Asia Pacific on initiatives impacting Product Control for:

•  Strategic change programmes;

•  Processes and Technology improvements;

•  Business growth initiatives

They partner with PC management and product controllers to conceptualise ideas, crystallise requirements and provide insights and solutions. We create value, drive change and are a change management adviser. Specialising in one or more specific product line teams, each team member provides business analysis project management expertise coupled with a solid appreciation of the needs and goals of their partner team.

This role requires the team member to perform Project Reporting and Business Analysis

Main Duties

•  Partner with allocated line team to identify process and system improvements

•  Provide Business analysis services to PC line teams

•  Interact with stake holders and document Simple "As is" Process Flows

•  Create simple Flow Charts and Decision Trees

•  Participate in Root cause Analysis for a issue

•  Write business requirements / functional specifications documents

•  Write test scripts for and manage the UAT process

•  Project manage smaller scale line team initiatives

•  Foster strong relationships with partner PC line teams

•  Engage project partners outside Finance

•  Ensure timely and accurate regional project reporting.

•  Interact with the Central projects reporting team and resolve any reporting issues.

Person Requirements

Essential

Qualifications and Education

•  Good undergraduate degree from top tier university

Experience

•  Good knowledge of the Product Control function

•  2-3 years work experience post qualification, strong preference for Investment Banking (Product Control, Finance etc)

•  Some business analysis exposure

•  Strong knowledge of investment bank business processes – front to back

Skills Knowledge

•  Very good communication skills

•  Proficiency with Microsoft Suite - Excel, Word, Power Point

•  Good presenting and written skills

•  Ability to listen and absorb information

•  Ability to observe processes and highlight process steps or issues not apparent to the users

•  Communicate clear and precise information

•  Ability to manage multiple pieces of work

•  Analytical and numerical orientation

Preferred

Qualifications and Education

•  ACA/CPA

•  Post graduate qualification, MBA/Accounting, Project Management (Prince2/PMI) or other Finance professional qualification

Experience

•  Prior experience working in a change management function

•  Accounting Experience in an Audit firm

•  Experience in Consulting Environment

•  Business analysis background

•  Track record in completing business analysis assignments across both business requirements gathering and testing
