They will be joining a unique team that has product ownership and works as an autonomous entity within the larger company, almost as an internal start-up. The Ruby on Rails developer will be an integral part of this team and will be given the opportunity to be creative and make their mark on the overall game. Most of the development will be completely Greenfield.
The successful Ruby on Rails developer must have excellent Ruby on Rails skills with proven experience of building enterprise, online applications. You must have strong database skills – particularly MySQL, and extensive testing experience using various tools such as FactoryGirl, Rspec and Cucumber. The team work according to agile practices so you must have worked as a Ruby on Rails developers in this kind of environment – short iterations, TDD etc – and a proven Github profile would be very nice to have.
