Run Games and Software from the Web

Job Description

Spoon.net is a revolutionary web-based PC platform that lets you run full desktop games and other software from any desktop.

Imagine simply installing a small plugin and being able to instantly run Starcraft, Minecraft, and even large desktop applications like Photoshop and Excel. Spoon is young, profitable, and could be the Dropbox for apps – and you can help make it all happen.

We are seeking software engineers to join our Virtual Machine and Studio development teams.

The Spoon virtual machine is a fully user-mode emulation layer for core OS filesystem, registry, and kernel subsystems. The Spoon VM allows applications to be deployed in ready-to-run virtual environments that execute in isolated virtual environments. Spoon Studio is our authoring environment for virtualizing applications.

Our engineers work on extremely challenging systems problems. We develop primarily in C/C++ and C# and expect our developers to be able (and eager) to quickly learn new languages and technologies.
