SAFEKEEPING SERVICES
REPRESENTATIVE
Bankers' Bank a financial institution on Madison's Westside has an immediate opening for a Safekeeping Services Representative. The position is full time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. The Safekeeping Services Representative monitors and controls the movement of securities and maintain these securities in safekeeping. The position interacts daily with other investment and deposit operations staff and has frequent contact with paying agents and a diversified customer base of over 400 customer banks
To be considered candidates must meet or exceed the following list of required education, skills, abilities, training and experience:
l
Possess a strong understanding of various types of securities including: agency bonds, treasuries, mortgage backeds, corporates, SBA's, common stocks and preferred stocks.
l
Minimum four year bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance/accounting or equivalent work experience.
l
Minimum of one year relevant banking or investments experience.
l
Must be able to multi-task
l
Excellent organization skills
l
Familiarity with Bloomberg and InTrader
l
Self directed independent worke
l
Team playe
l
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
l
Strong attention to detail
l
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
l
