The Role
Your role as the Safety Advisor will focus on compliance and safety training to improve safety awareness and behaviours. An operational safety person who enjoys being “hands on” will relish this opportunity as you will be ‘shop floor’ based in this safety observation role.
To be successful you will bring:
• An understanding of OHS legislation, systems and processes
• Related achievements in influencing a safety culture in heavy industry
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in a challenging environment
• The desire to motivate and challenge people to ensure ownership of health and safety across all levels of the business
• Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
