Safety and Health Manager Come be apart of the first Cross Border initiative with Sodexo USA and Sodexo Canada. We are in need of a Safety and Health Manager to support Sodexo at the Bakken Oil field for Sodexo This remote site camp is located in Tioga, North Dakota. We will open with 600 rooms, and move to 2,500 rooms by spring. Phase 2 of this venture, will be in approx 6 months, in a site within 70 miles This position will provide support on accident and fire prevention Communicate and train staff on remedial actions and enforce compliance with company and federal state codes Salaried employees will work a turn around so many day's on site, so many day's home (TBD) This and all salaried position at Tioga will allow you to live where you want and work in North Dakota. Sodexo will provide transportation back and forth to your home and the unit. All Salary employees are on Sodexo USA payroll and Sodexo manages a 3rd party partner's frontline employees Manages the accident and fire prevention programs for an assigned geographic territory. Identifies unsafe conditions. Determines accident cause factors and facilitate appropriate remedial actions. Communicates accident prevention/fire prevention information to key management within assigned territory. Enforces compliance with company policy, federal, state, and local codes and standards involving the safety of employees and the public. Completes three safety audits per month. Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in occupational health safety programs, loss control, or related field Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
