JOB DESCRIPTION

 

 

 

Position Objective: 

Conducts quality on-site inspections for potential health and safety problems and recommends strategies to correct deficiencies.  Provides on-site safety training and consultation based on client needs.  Maintains positive client relationships by providing outstanding customer service

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

·         Conducts on-site safety inspections for potential health and safety problems.. 

·         Identifies risk and prepares and presents health and safety strategies to correct deficiencies. 

·         Ensures client’s physical working conditions meet safety standards by identifying potential hazards and communicates recommendations.

·         Prepares and conducts safety awareness training as required by regulation and specific client needs, including competent person training:

·         Performs follow-up inspections to ensure compliance with policies and training are implemented at the work locations.

·         Coordinates the investigation of accidents/ incidents to ensure all requirements for OSHA, insurance, and legal issues are addressed.

·         Conducts industrial hygiene monitoring for noise and atmospheric exposures.

·         Supports clients in developing strategic EHS compliance programs.

·         Completes the online report for each inspection within the designated timeframe.

·         Effectively schedules work to ensure inspections are completed on time.

·         Maintains positive client relationships by providing outstanding service.

·         Sells company services and products.

·         Conducts OSHA health and safety awareness training on all 29 CFR OSHA topics. 

·         Assists clients with accident/incident reports, Root Cause Analysis, Job Hazard Analysis and OSHA 300 recordkeeping, as needed.

·         Maintains company vehicle per the company policy.

·         Maintains current knowledge of regulations and updates.

·         Ensures expenses are within company guidelines

·         Performs other related duties as required or requested.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

·         2-5 years of experience conducting OSHA health and safety audits

·         Construction and General Industry experience required

·         OSHA 500 and 501 Outreach Trainer preferred

·         OSHA 510 and 511 Outreach Trainer preferred

·         Must be able to travel

·         Must be computer literate

·         Fluent Bilingual (Spanish) Preferred
