SAFETY COORDINATOR
SAFETY COORDINATOR - FULLERTON
Primary focus of this position will be to coordinate the safety regulatory information, reporting systems, education and training to maintain regulatory compliance for the plant and all partners. The leadership team at the facility will decide which specific safety and environmental programs the partner will “coordinate” and / or be “directly responsible” for. Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP and CCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL. The partner in this position is the coordinator and process owner of ALL safety regulatory programs as they apply to this facility.

Must take (or have taken with scores on file):
Bennett Mechanical score of 50, Wonderlic WPT score of 20, Ability to type 25 WPM, PCI score of 40 and Regulatory Technician testing also required.
Service and Support
- Knowledge of permits and general regulatory requirements for typical industrial applications is required.
- Proven ability to provide timely documentation and excellent organizational skills is highly desired.
- Candidates will be asked to test their knowledge of the Accident/Investigation process, Safety Policies, General Safety Knowledge, and Data Interpretation. Results will be scored and used in the selection process.
Systems Capability
- Must be able to proficiently utilize SFI computer programs (Microsoft Office Package; PowerPoint, Excel, Word, PC Compliance) to enhance performance and provide information to internal and external customers.
- Candidate will be asked to draft a one-page letter using Microsoft Word, and build a simple Excel spreadsheet and graph the data. Results will be scored and used in the selection process.
Quality Orientation
- Utilizes Process Excellence tools within their daily work processes (includes 7-step, measurement, Gantt Charts, process flow diagrams, etc).

- The ability to present, in both verbal and written format to both internal and external customers.

- Candidates will be asked to deliver a presentation on a safety-related topic to an interview panel.
