Job Description Position Purpose:
Provide leadership and support in attaining a safe working environment, provide direct support for aseptic production, emergency management.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Experience: 1-3 years in safety
Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge:
Knowledge of OSHA regulations
Good skills in root cause analysis for analyzing accidents
Working knowledge of OSHAS 18001
Emergency Management / planning knowledge and experience
Pharmaceutical experience a plus
Good communication and writing skills
Working knowledge of fire detection/suppression/prevention systems
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in areas with odors/hazardous materials, near operating equipment, in high places, confined spaces and in moderate to loud noise environments.
Available to work hours necessary to support production and maintenance activities.
