Position Description:
Specific Duties:
- Develop, prepare, administer, and coordinate plant safety and training programs and manuals.
- Maintain all safety and training documentation.
- Assist in new hire orientation.
- Implement and perform safety and GMP practices, work processes and procedures that deliver improved safety results.
- Lead Safety training and safety team meetings for the plant.
- Promote safety awareness throughout the plant.
- Understand Federal and State occupational safety and health regulations and monitor changes.
- Maintain Safety and OSHA records.
- Assist and participate in plant audits.
- Investigate and assist in all accidents and safety incidents.
- Monitor trainers performance and effectiveness.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Management or at least one year of experience in safety and/or training is required.
- A minimum of 1 year work experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and work well under pressure.
- Able to communicate and work will all levels of management and employees.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Superior communication skills, written and oral.
- Proven attendance and quality work performance.
- Ability to follow attendance policy required.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
