Worldwide TechServices is currently searching for a Safety/Training Specialist in our Tewksbury Massachusetts Headquarters to handle employee training, safety and compliance. The position reports to the Global Director, Training Development and Technical Support.
- • We are seeking a Safety and Health Coordinator to assist with the daily operations of our safety programs, procedures, and trainings.
- • Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with state, federal and local regulations
- • Develop and support company safety initiatives
- • Help with the implementation of proactive health, safety, environmental, policies, programs, and training.
- • Assist with the completion of all health, safety, and environmental inspections and reporting requirements
- • Conduct scheduled safety interviews with employees and have the ability to make corrective action recommendations where appropriate
- • Conduct interviews with employees who have suffered workplace injuries to ensure safety protocol was followed
- • Schedule and conduct training presentations
- • Work closely with safety committee to ensure company objectives are being met
- • Assist, support and coordinate with administrative staff in identifying training needs.
- • Coordinate with training instructors in developing training course content.
- • 3 years of experience working with OSHA regulations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position requires approximately 4-6 hours per day standing and/or walking. This position may require climbing stairs and ladders. Some travel is required.
Candidate should be well organized, detail oriented, possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work with MS Office products. Position requires a bachelors degree and or a minimum of 3 years of related safety/training experience including knowledge of OSHA regulations.
