Position requirements:
· This individual must have a very good working knowledge of OHSAS 18001 International Standard.
· Also manage/improve HS system with a preventive approach
· Current knowledge of legal requirements, including NFPA, OSHA, MSHA
· Maintain legal record-keeping and filing
· Conduct risk assessments: processes/equipment/materials
· Lead management reviews
· Deliver/design training program
· Coordinate internal and external audits
Immediate Client Needs:
· Evaluation of existing 18001 system and define the gaps in the system.
- Ongoing management of corrective actions
- Leadership for internal auditors/safety team
- Leadership for the facility through a intermediate external audit
- Lead management review meetings as to the status of the program.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
· 5+ years related experience.
