COMPANY Would like someone that has strong Safety with Some Environmental Experience along with experience with Security Experience
 
 PURPOSE:  Manages plant
occupational performance, health, and safety  issues including training, permits, plans, 
 audits/inspections, regulatory agency communication and corporate reporting.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create a Zero Injury Vision and Culture
Develop plant program, policies, and procedures.
Manage plant Safety education and training.
Conduct routine plant safety inspections/audits  identify hazards and ensure corrected in a timely manner.
Contractor safety coordination
Manage / lead personnel including business planning, performance management process, key result areas, and coaching.
Manage
safety issues at the facility including compliance management systems, projects, agency reporting, and training.
Maintain leadership over all plant environmental issues including air, water, and waste.
Ensure effective deployment of all environmental policies and procedures and assist plant operations to ensure compliance with all federal and state environmental requirements.
Develop, improve, and assist with implementation of site-specific management of environmental issues.
Leadership role in Accident and Environmental incident investigations using Root Cause Analysis process.
Monitor/communicate/report environmental metrics and facility performance to plant leadership and federal and state agencies.
Train plant operations personnel on environmental issues and perform internal assessments of environmental compliance systems.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge 
Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field
Minimum 5 to 10 years of safety leadership experience working in the industrial processing industry.
Demonstrated working knowledge of all OSHA Standards
Knowledge of ergonomics.
Knowledge of Compliance regulations / permits and issues as they relate to site
