Directions for Youth Families have the following open position:
SAIL Outreach Services Intake Specialist: The SOS Program is a collaborative partnership with Columbus Public Schools. This is a 10-month position with summers off. The selected individual will be responsible for taking referrals, conducting mental health assessments, offering education and consultation to school personnel, linking students with DFYF programming and other community resources, and other duties as assigned. This individual must possess strong engagement and communication skills in order to establish positive working relationships with students, families, and school personnel. Solid knowledge of community resources is needed for this position. Services will take place in the school setting and on an outreach basis. LSW or LPC required. Minimum of 2 years experience working with children and families. Masters preferred. (Job Code LS)
