When it comes to PVC Piping Systems, our client is the largest Australian owned and operated pipe and fittings manufacturing businesses in Australia with manufacturing and distribution capabilities in all States as well as New Zealand. They are an innovative industry leader, providing a diverse range of products and services to State and Local governments, contractors, mining, oil gas and water authorities. They are closely associated with some of Australia’s largest water projects and thousands of kilometres of their piping systems have been installed across Australia

They now seek to appoint an experienced Sales Manager in their Perth office, to head up WA Operation. This is a senior management position within one of the pivotal divisions in their business.

The focus will be to develop key relationships with the major distributors and manage the relationship between customer and distributor. At the same time oversee technical training on new product development. You must keep you your ear to the floor and maximise on growth through sales within all of Western Australia.

Key account management, after market management, business planning, target solutions, market trends, and application solution project management is also part of the daily routine. As you read this add you will probably understand that it requires a huge amount of work.

Your outstanding track record in sales distinguishes you from your peers. Your ability to close new business opportunities, while also maintaining an existing client base is the key to your success. Your exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and relationship building skills are underpinned by your keen business sense and commercial acumen. You are driven to succeed and are renowned for your strategic business thinking, technical expertise and solution-focussed approach, encompassed by your ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

You will have a proven sales / Business development management background of at least 3-5 years, within the industrial mining arena. You will be well known and respected among the major construction and mining companies and ideally, have an established network of business relationships.
