In particular they are looking for an experienced metals salesperson/broker to join the firm and help take a leading role in their activity in this space.

Responsibilities for Metals Salesperson, Base, Precious, New York, USA, Salary: Highly Competitive (Metals, Base Metals, Commodities, Derivatives, Sales): 

• Marketing a portfolio of metal derivatives to maximize sales revenue

• Working with a range of clients, predominantly institutional within EMEA

• Develop, service and maintain a book of clients in the metals industry

• Providing clients with market information, and supply technical and marketing advice

• Provide support to business development and trading teams

Skills / Attributes required for Sales – Metals Salesperson, Base, Precious, New York, USA, Salary: Highly Competitive (Metals, Base Metals, Commodities, Derivative, Sales)

• 5+ years metals sales experience

• An excellent understanding of the wider commodity markets, but with a specialized knowledge of the metals space

• Exposure to working with clients in the institutional sector

• Excellent communication and presenting skills

• Be based in New York, USA

Candidates applying for this position must have an excellent capacity to sell derivative solutions, combined with a knowledge and understanding of the metal markets across global markets. The position will be working in a challenging, target-driven, sales environment at a bank in New York
